Topography

Topography

Ink on card with pen drawn lines

33 x 52 cms

Framed and mounted in a gold-look frame

This is second of the monochrome series of abstracts. I called it Topography'' because looking at it I saw an image like a map of something - of another world. I dropped the ink onto wet card and used a straw to blow the strands, allowing them to go whichever way they wanted. I also tilted the card so that the pools of ink converged together.
