This isthe first piece of a new technique I developed using a mixture of materials such as Gesso and glue to create a textured background on canvas. The first coat was left to dry for 24 hours before a second coat was applied. I use a minimum choice of colours which I apply to the board to express what I wanted to convey by the piece. The resulting effects are not planned or
manipulated so each piece is created organically and is unique. I called this 'Galaxy because to me it looks like stars and planets in our galaxy.
