Ink and white acrylic paint on cream card

29 x 49 cms

Framed and mounted in a gold-look frame

This is one of my favourite pieces and one of my successful abstracts. Also, the first in a series. I called it 'Imagine' because I felt that by looking into this painting, the viewer is left to imagine what it must be about. I dropped the ink onto wet card and used a straw to blow the strands, allowing them to go whichever way they wanted. I also tilted the card so that the pools of ink converged together. I repeated the process using white acrylic paint.
