This painting was inspired by a picture I found in a magazine. It is credited to ‘Annee’ but no more information than that. I loved the composition and so kept true to that, but I added my own version of the colours in the original and made it more vibrant. Also, the details like the fish scales are much more visible in my version. This has proved a popular greeting card and print.
