These paintings were taken from some photos I’d taken whilst holidaying in Spain. We’d gone to watch a flamenco dance show and I was lucky enough to join in as dancing is another of my passions. I wanted to capture the movement and the poses by the dancer and used the terracotta orange typical of Spanish interiors as a background.
